Two searches bring people to a dentist: "dentist taking new patients" and "emergency dentist". Both are urgent, both are decided in minutes, and most practice websites answer neither above the fold.
It is the first question and it is almost never answered. A practice that writes "we are accepting new patients, and we direct bill most major insurers" at the top of the page saves itself a hundred phone calls a month and earns the trust of everyone who reads it, including the people it turns away.
Immediately after it belongs the emergency route: whether you keep same-day slots, what time to call, and what to do after hours. Someone in genuine dental pain is not going to read a paragraph about your practice philosophy to find it.
The build is $199, hosting is $15 a month, and the web address is from $35 a year registered to the practice. Free to see finished before you commit.
Most ways of getting a website end with you renting one. Cancel a builder subscription and the pages stop existing; there is nothing to take with you because there was never a file. That is the trade you make for the monthly price, and plenty of people make it knowingly.
This is not that. What gets built for you is a WordPress theme: a real folder of files, with its own style.css, index.php and functions.php, that installs through Appearance, Themes, Add New, Upload Theme on any WordPress host in the world. We host it for you at $15 a month so you never have to think about it, and the web address is registered in your name, not ours.
If you ever want to leave, ask for a copy and it is yours: the theme file, the address, the content. You can hand it to any developer and they will recognise exactly what they are looking at, because it is an ordinary WordPress theme and not a proprietary export nobody else can open.
A clinic example. A dental build puts new patient status and emergencies where this one puts the services list. Nothing here is a mock-up: the frame below is a live page, rendered by the same code that builds a customer's site.
Free to look at the finished site. You pay when you want it live.
Addresses cost different amounts by ending: a .com is cheaper than a .io. We charge what the registrar charges us plus a small margin, and show the exact figure before you pay.
Yes. Dental advertising is regulated and claims about outcomes, before and after imagery, and the way prices are presented are all covered by your state or provincial board's guidance, which differs between them. You control every word on the page, so keep it within the guidance where you practise; we build the page, we do not sign off the claims.
The site takes enquiries by email and shows your number, and it can link to a booking system you already run. It does not hold appointment slots itself.
You can, but a shorter list that people read beats a complete one they scroll past. Lead with check-ups, hygiene, emergencies and the two or three treatments you most want more of.
Edit it yourself from a private link. It takes a couple of minutes and needs nobody's help.
Free to look, and nothing to cancel if you decide against it.
